Compassion

We've all made our fair share of mistakes.  And we've had plenty of wrong done against us.  I always found I could forgive ANYONE quite nearly--except Tom Cruise... because he should be flogged with a tampon (fo' reals).  But when it came to extending myself a bit of grace, that was pretty much a NOPE NU-UH NOT GONNA DO IT kind of moment.

How do you forgive yourself for having hurt the ones you love???  And for getting yourself into some situations so bad you don't even remember how you got there???

MY FREAKING WORD HOW DID THIS EVEN HAPPEN???

Because if you were friends with yourself during the hell, yeah you might have gotten irritated with "sick-you" and pry super ticked off and may have created distance, but considering what you've learned, if that person was your friggin' friend, you wouldn't drop them cold.  SURE--people that you THOUGHT were your friends did it to YOU.  BE YOUR OWN FRIEND--BE THE FRIEND YOU DESERVED DURING HELL.  And skip with your crazy self and play hopscotch or something.
*I write this blog.  I promised 2 hours of doing stupid crap.  Drawing circles was my other option.  I REALLY LIKE DRAWING CIRCLES.

Forget "snooze"-- HIT RESET!

In a strange turn of events, things HAVE CHANGED.  Life since I'd begun writing the blog in 2008 (? according to some page I just looked at) has been a whirlwind of BETTER.  Granted, life still sucks.  SUCH IS LIFE, or c'est la vie or whatevs if you feel super important about your time spent in French class, or... ya know... BEING French.

Granted, for people that don't struggle with particular illnesses, the maxim I governed my crapstorm by may not be true but for whoever might be out there that has similar battles...

JUST GO TO SLEEP.  IT'LL BE BETTER WHEN YOU WAKE UP.

Poppy cock!  You may be tempted to say!  But research has shown that a "reset" takes place when you sleep.  You may be willing to give that moment to your friggin' phone, but are you kind enough to do it for yourself?

AA, NA, BA <--boobies anonymous

Saw this at work last summer.  Little man clearly has a drinking problem.  Can't hold his milk.

Reverend Beamer's Words To Live By

Do not just walk.  Do a lot of stopping.  Do a lot of sitting down for no reason just to look.  Do you look?  Did you see that the one goose is not a Canadian goose like the others?  I ponder these things.  I think: That goose is a friggin' retard.  Doesn't he see he doesn't belong?  And then I smile... and think about chasing the geese.  Especially the big white one.  He's a retard.  :D

HELLS YES

Some days suck.  But when you're this guy, every day is a friggin' fiesta.  Check out this spread peeps!  Yeah... y'all be hatin!!!  On a side note:  what is with all these girls that post on FB about "haters?"  No, honey you don't have haters because you are beautiful and everyone is jealous.  You're just a spiteful witch.  We aren't jealous.  We just can't stand you.  BUT!!!  Don't be hatin' on the sombrero hamster.  Dude's hamster wheel is probably in Dub rims.  BOOYAH.  That's how we roll up in here.

Beezer's BFF

So this is Reverend.  He has a host of things to say.  A unique opinion at every turn.  I wanted to introduce him to you because he is what made EVERYTHING CHANGE.  At the hands of ups and downs he has taught me none of what I expected to learn, and a ton of things I actually NEEDED to learn.

*Ritalin* 6/15/09

Ritalin, let's sin again
O that I had a tablet
I would arise from my slumber.
But as for now,
I'm deep under.
Depression has split my soul usunder.
And there's no Ritalin
To put it back again.

Case of the Lonelies

So, I've been feeling ridiculously lonely lately.  Not only does being lonely simply suck, but with the whole bipolar thing it tends to be that much more obnoxious.  Gotta love the way depression spirals into an obnoxious muck.

*The origins and licenses were hard to track down but in a turn of awesomeness, the truly cool spiral can be attributed to this website (that is the one with all the colors--the first spiral)

But let's be honest.  None of my spirals are this pretty--like at all.  The chaos I experience might be sort of grasped by the last picture but even then it is pretty questionable.

But in all fairness, I began this post to share an AMAZING website that I absolutely love called STUFF NO ONE TOLD ME (BUT I LEARNED ANYWAY).  The dude that does these drawings is an amazing artist and I highly recommend visiting his site.  But I wanted to share one of his pieces so here it is:

Sometimes we have to step out of our comfort zone.  Which, we all know is a wicked difficult experience.  And yes, I am sorta manic.  Yes, I took ritalin.  Yes, I worked on organizing the hell that is my mom's office upstairs.  *smh* I'm bipolar through and through.

Boob Fabric... perfect for a young boy's quilt

Thought I'd add some random stuff I found around my area

Seen at a bar in my town.  Makes me wonder what green tea possibly could have done wrong to warrant a massive outrage that caused a grown adult to take a green crayon and scrawl this drunken message on the side of a building.  Who knows!

Happy almost Easter!

So as you know, I am a massive fan of Doug Savage and his awesome Chickens and he has been kind enough to let me post one of his pieces a month.  I thought this was apt since the whole Easter thing is coming at some point.

GENIUS

I SO WISH I knew who to attribute this to because it is so incredibly perfect in so many ways.  Like... seriously.  This pic just might deserve a badassary award.  It might have originally appeared in deviantart.

I might be a bad person

mandatory Christmas post

As always, couldn't say enough awesomeness about the awesomeness of Doug Savage and his awesome chickens.

manic cleaning...

This badass company is for realzies.  Check them out here.

I doubt most people can appreciate the feeling I have... that overwhelming knowledge and fear that if I start something I might not finish... in which case the vestiges of my failed efforts will lie in horrible disarray around the whole of my living space... but also the antsy-ness.

I have taken my sleeping meds, now-- at midnight and a half-- but not after a massive cleaning spree.  I have been fighting the urge to blog again... for fear that no one will ever read and simultaneously forgetting that I don't blog for everyone else, I blog for me.

I have a friend who has a blog and gets more than 40 hits and hour... and I feel as though I drown in failure so often, why should it be here, as well.   OMG SO EMO!  lmao

emo emu

I feel horrible because I cannot find the source of this content.  It looks like there is a website written in the bottom right hand corner but I cannot read it.  I believe it is originally from photobucket and unfortunately, even when I go there, it does not show an original source.  So I'd like to HUGELY THANK whoever created this image and I am so sorry that I cannot direct others to see your other work (which is no doubt AWESOME).

it's hard to be sad when you're squealing uncontrollably

Damn you optimism!

I originally found this image here however, I don't think this is where it originated.
